How do I add Points of Interest to my Drone order?

Points of Interest (POIs) on Drone Images

We automatically add POIs to drone images to help highlight key locations on the property. If you prefer not to have POIs, that is completely fine. We can remove them for you, and we can also explain how to avoid them in future bookings.

Quick summary of what you can do

  • Want POIs removed? Tell us and we will remove them from the final images.
  • Want to avoid POIs in future bookings? Add your preference to the booking notes or tell the photographer on site.
  • Want a specific POI highlighted? Add the details in your booking notes or ask the photographer.
  • Need to change existing POIs on a completed drone delivery? Use the correction tool to remove, add, or amend POIs. The corrected material will be delivered within 6 working hours.

How we add POIs

We add POIs during processing to help identify important surrounding landmarks or areas such as Melbourne CBD or nearby transport links. For most orders this is automatic and does not affect the shoot itself.

Australia

POIs are added automatically as part of our standard workflow, so your first delivery will usually include them. If we miss the mark, you can adjust the POIs for this delivery using the correction tool or ask us to fix them; for future bookings, just add your preference in the booking comment or tell the photographer on site.

New Zealand

POIs can vary between orders because different suppliers use different tools and processes when selecting them.

To make sure we follow your preferences, please add your POI instructions in the booking notes or tell the photographer during the shoot.

If something is not right

No problem. If POIs need to be removed, corrected, or changed after the shoot, you can:

  • Reply to your delivery email or open a support ticket and request the change.
  • Use the correction tool to remove, add, or amend any POIs on the delivered images.
  • For future shoots, add “No POIs” or specify your POI preferences in the booking notes or tell the photographer.

Need help?

If you are unsure what to write in the booking notes, here are examples you can copy:

  • “Please do not add POIs to the final images.”
  • “Please add POIs for Melbourne CBD and nearby amenities.”
